Hello readers, submitters, and everyone in between! Today is issue publishing day!

The Fall/Winter 2025 issue of MONSTER’S iNK, otherwise known as the Book of the Damned Volume 2, is now live! I hope you are as excited to read and support the artists published as I am. Some are returning artists, and others are new, but all deserve your loving eyes!

If you are a reader, thank you for engaging with the magazine. I created it partly for people like you, readers wanting more spooky works from all walks of life. I hope this issue satisfies your desires. Know that the artists featured in this magazine continue to create and even have WIPs. If you want more spookiness and great stories and poetry, find and support them outside the magazine!

If you are a submitter, thank you for putting your trust in me and the magazine. I hope the latter is a wonderful home for your work. The magazine would not exist without you, nor can I imagine it without you. Thank you for all your hard work. I, as always, wish you luck in your other creative endeavors!

Your beloved Witch also wants to thank her wonderful coven for all their help, advice, and moral support during the creation of this issue. I am just as new to graphic and website designing as I am to editing, and I would be absolutely lost without you all. Thank you so much!

Your beloved Witch wishes to update everyone on the Fall/Winter 2025 issue of MONSTER’S iNK! The biggest update is the cover for volume two of The Book of the Damned. I hope you like it, your Witch is quite proud of it.

Otherwise, the issue is moving along stupendously and will be published very soon. I have a few final tasks, and of course much editing and proofreading. Nonetheless, your Witch is very excited about this new issue!

I want to thank all who submitted to the magazine’s second issue, as well as the magazine’s readers. The magazine and the upcoming issue would not exist without you.

Good morning, creatures of the night! Submissions for the Fall/Winter 2025 issue of MONSTER’S iNK are NOW OPEN!

Although I, your wonderfully nightmarish Witch, have enjoyed my well-earned break from my literary witchcraft, I miss my spooky creatives dearly. And there is no better time for horrifying works than October (easily the best month of the year)! So, to fill the eerie and frightening hole in my dead heart, I have opened submissions for a Fall/Winter issue!

The submission form will be open for all of October, and will close at midnight on the spookiest day of the year, October 31st. Any questions can be answered by the “Submission Guidelines” section on the website, or by emailing the witch at monstersinklitmag.com.

I cannot wait to read your works!

The comings of new seasons mean the beginnings of a new issue of MONSTER’S iNK! Trust that your favorite literary Witch has been hard at work once more, itching for cold weather, spooky holidays, and the new works of her fellow creatives! While submissions aren’t open yet, I nonetheless have some updates and notes:

• Submissions will open October 1st and will remain open for all of October! Submission guidelines are on the website, but if there are any questions, please email me!
• If you have submitted before and would like to submit again, please do so! I will not guarantee that you will be published again, but I can assure you that your submitting again is not the reason for rejection.
• I reiterate that I, as your soliciting Witch, ask for spooky, scary, and/or dark stories. Moreover, if the holiday season inspires you (I see you, Halloween, two months away!!!), I would love to read/see so! While this is the Fall/Winter issue, I do not require your story be fall/winter/holiday influenced (but would gladly accept it!).

Hello all creatures of the night! Here are some updates regarding the debut issue of MONSTER’S iNK:

1. The submission form for the debut issue has closed! Submissions are no longer being accepted, but if you want to submit your work in the future, check this site and social media (Threads and Insta) for those deadlines when they come. Otherwise, the site has the submission guidelines, so don’t hesitate to get started!
2. The debut issue will be published here in late April! It will feature poetry, prose, as well as some visual art. I cannot wait to share it with you all, and the contributors are excited as well (and if you are a contributor reading this, hello, I give you extra witchy blessings).
3. Cover update! I am also very excited to show you all the cover of the first issue:
